In many cases I have clients who reassure me that their company already provide a health screening for them, and they do not want to do another round of screening outside. Fair. I do understand.

However, I do require that you get a complete list of what is really checked from your employer’s screening program. Most companies out there only provide employees with blood, urine and X-ray test. If you really want to filter thoroughly on any disease and early detection, this is really insufficient!!!!!!

Here’s a real case example of a physician at National Taiwan University, who does GOT and GPT’s blood test every year. One day before the Chinese New Year, he was down with serious stomachache and decided to schedule a screening in MJ to investigate further.

And he found out that there’s a ten centimeters liver tumor the size of the current right lobe liver resection and there is bone metastasis, diagnosed with terminal liver cancer.

Regret, but it’s a bit too late…

Therefore partial screening is really inadequate to know your body in details!!! Life is full of regrets but this is definitely not something you want to regret because of ignorance..
